Order & Pay

In short: Yes, no problem. Our products are shipped to your from the Netherlands. Since the departure from the EU, there has been some uncertainty about how transport to Great Britain will work. Examples are sometimes cited of situations where a customer has to pay the VAT amount and customs costs at the door or orders being refused at the border. No worries, this is not the case with us. LifeSpan Europe has a carrier that crosses the North Sea every day and we pay the VAT directly to the British tax authorities. As a British customer you can safely wait for delivery and you don't have any extra paperwork to do or additional payments to make.

We understand that placing a large order demands your trust. Therefore, know that at LifeSpan Europe we are open about our company data, our working method and, moreover, we are personal and approachable in our services. We offer several payment methods, so that you can also pay afterwards or pay with insurance if you wish. Examples of paying with insurance are PayPal Buyer Protection and Mastercard Delivery Guarantee.

Customers in the Netherlands can use In3. The name says it all: you pay in three parts. You transfer the first part directly via iDeal, the second (after 30 days) and third (60 days after order) are automatically debited.

It happens sometimes a product is temporarily out of stock. In most cases this means that the item is (soon to be) in transit to us. Feel free to ask us about the moment your desired product(s) will be back in stock or reach out to us if you are looking for a good alternative.

It sometimes happens the payment was unsuccessful due to circumstances. For example, due to a temporary malfunction on our website or at your credit card company. Please try again a bit later and if possible  with a different payment method. It can also happen the spending limit of your credit card has been exceeded. Important to know: you can email us about your desired product. We will then send you an invoice with our bank account number (IBAN). You can then transfer the amount manually through your bank. 

It is possible that a part has been damaged and the device can no longer be used. For example the console, handle or running surface. Do you need a part for lets say a treadmill, elliptical trainer or exercise bike? Please let us know. We have a number of parts in our own stock. In other cases we can usually obtain loose parts at the manufacturer. 

After you've placed your order, you'll receive two emails from us: 1) within a few minutes after placing the order you will receive confirmation that the order and payment were successful. 2) within business hours you'll receive confirmation as soon as possible that we have shipped the order. You'll also receive an indication of the shipping time. The shipping time depends on your location. It is possible that these emails end up in the 'junk email'. Check this one out too to be sure.

Delivery

All orders costing above 350 euros are delivered free of charge. You do not pay shipping costs. And (also for UK citizens) there aren't any additional administration costs and customs formalities. The time of delivery of our products depends on your location. Products ordered before 15:00 will be shipped the same day with Palletways throughout Europe. Orders to an address in the Netherlands will be delivered within one business day. In general, your order will be delivered to all locations in Europe within a week. List of countries + delivery times 

Small products, such as lubricant or heart rate monitors, are shipped with a carrier such as DHL. If the track & trace is not included in the email with the order confirmation, you can request it through our customer service. This way you can check quite accurately when your order will be delivered. The process is slightly different for large products, such as treadmills or crosstrainers. These are transported through the carriers of Palletways.com. As it is regarding an international trucking order, the shipping status is more broadly described. You will see the ultimate delivery time. The driver will also call you about thirty minutes in advance about the exact time of delivery.

Our products are delivered up to the first doorstep of the building. If you live in an apartment your order will be delivered at the entrance of the building and not at your doorstep. In many cases, heavy equipment is offered on a pallet. In this case, the carrier will deliver the order up to the point he can reach with his pallet truck. For example, this can also be a garage. You can call in the help of your brother, your neighbour or a friend to get your order to its final location. Small and light products will be delivered by a parcel service to the front door of your residence.

Do you have your own transport and would you rather pick up your order yourself? No problem! We have a pick-up point in Moordrecht, the Netherlands. If you want to pick up your order yourself make sure to tick 'Pick up in Moordrecht' as your delivery method when you place your order. We will set up the order for you and help you with loading your product(s) if necessary. Please note: some of our products are stocked at an external warehouse, but we can have your order ready and available to you within 48 hours. More information 

Do you want to compensate for the released co2 emission of the transport of your order? It is possible to do this via the link below: More information We usually send small packages via DHL. The co2 emissions are compensated by DHL itself.

Unfortunately, it sometimes occurs your order is damaged during transport. If you notice any damage upon delivery please leave a note at the carriers packing slip. Open the box carefully and check if the product inside is also damaged. If the product is indeed damaged please let us know as soon as possible. We recommend you to take pictures of the damage. Make sure you leave the original packaging intact so you can return the order if necessary.  Carefully open the box and see if the product is also damaged. Is there any damage on the product? Let us know as soon as possible and send a photo of the damage if possible. Leave the original packaging intact, so that it can be returned if necessary.

Service After Purchase

The manual of a product can be found on the concerning product page at our website. If you scroll down there, you will see an orange or a blue button that refers to the manual. 

 To extend the life of your treadmill, it is important to provide it with LifeSpan silicone spray four times a year. Here's how to use this:  

1. Turn off the treadmill and unplug the power cord.
2. Starting toward the front (motor side) of your treadmill, slide your hand under the belt, creating a separation between the deck and the belt.
3. Slide the grease tube as close to the center of the deck as possible.
4. While gently applying controlled pressure to the squeeze bottle, slowly move the applicator from the center to the edge of the treadmill.
5. Apply approximately 15 milliliters (1/8 of the bottle) to the bottom of the belt.
6. Repeat steps 2-3 on the other side of the belt.
7. Plug in the treadmill, turn it on and run for 3-5 minutes to evenly distribute the treadmill lubricant.Click here for more information and a video.

Do you want to place a business order? That is also possible at LifeSpan Europe. You can place business purchases in two ways: 1) you can place orders at our webshop and use one of our many payment methods or 2) you can use an invoice we will send you upon request.
