Purchase

Purchase agreement By placing the order, you agree to these terms and conditions and indicate that you are legally authorized to enter into binding purchase agreements. Products will only be shipped when the money has been received by LifeSpan Europe. Only then is the purchase agreement finalized. The customer will receive an order confirmation email to the email address provided. That is not yet a payment confirmation.

Customer details

LifeSpan Europe assumes that the information entered by the customer when placing an order, for example address details, is correct. The customer should therefore check these carefully before placing the order. Any costs that have to be incurred for transport to a wrong address are at the expense of the customer. To change or cancel the order or customer/address details after placing the order, please contact us via the contact details on the website. The order can only be changed or canceled free of charge before it has been put on transport.

VAT

The prices of the products on the LifeSpan Europe website include VAT. For orders on behalf of companies, (government) institutions or customers outside the European Union, it is possible to make orders without VAT. This is done on request via our contact page.

Payment options

Payment for the placed order can be made in various ways, via the web store this includes iDeal, Visa, Mastercard, bank/giro, Paypal and Bankcontact. On request you can request a bank transfer or a payment invoice. It is not allowed to share individual price agreements with third parties.

Unilateral cancellation LifeSpan Europe

Due to a combination of circumstances, it can unfortunately happen that a product is not available when the order is placed. LifeSpan Europe will then inform the customer as soon as possible and cancel the purchase agreement. In another situation, if an incorrect, unreasonable and unrealistic price has been charged due to an error (human or technical), LifeSpan Europe reserves the right to cancel the order. After such cancellation of the order, the money paid will be refunded soon, but at the latest within 14 days.

Delivery and returns

Delivery

LifeSpan Europe ships orders to customers via DHL, Palletways and similar recognized carriers. We communicate an expected delivery day. We base this delivery day on experiences, product availability and the possibilities at the carrier. The order may unexpectedly arrive a day or a few days earlier or later. LifeSpan Europe tries to inform the customer as best as possible about the current delivery time.

Important:

LifeSpan Europe products tend to be large in size and heavy. Delivery will therefore usually take place on a pallet. The driver does not lift and will bring the pallet with product to the point where the pallet truck can reach. In most cases, this is on the sidewalk/driveway/front yard in front of the customer's home or apartment building. The customer must take into account that, if necessary, he must ask for help from an acquaintance to help lift the order inside. Any damage (e.g. rain damage) caused by failure to bring in on time cannot be recovered from LifeSpan Europe.

Rules regarding returns

The regular return period is 30 days. Customer must notify LifeSpan Europe before returning an order so that Customer and LifeSpan Europe can reasonably agree on the method and time of return.

Returning orders within the specified period of 30 days is subject to the following conditions:

  • The customer has 30 days to return your order, valid from the moment you receive the order;
  • The customer is responsible for arranging the return shipment. Return shipments are at the risk of the customer. LifeSpan Europe is not liable for damage to returned products or the loss thereof;
  • The customer is entitled to a trial period. This period is intended to test the product. The customer may remove the product from the packaging and test it, as he would do in a showroom of a store and to the extent necessary to determine the functioning of the product and to determine whether the product is completely satisfactory. If this is not the case, the customer must pack the product for return as much as possible in the original packaging, and in any case in packaging that sufficiently protects the product against damage. The buyer is at all times responsible for damage as a result of improperly packaged products.
  • Please Note: A full refund will ONLY be issued if the returned product is in new condition, complete, in good working order and undamaged. If this is not the case, a refund will NOT be made, or the costs to be incurred for repair of any damage and the costs to be incurred for any replacement of parts will be deducted from the amount to be refunded.
  • After the return has arrived at our warehouse and the above has been met, a full refund will be made to the bank account number used when ordering;

Delivery policy

The moment you order a product through our website or a marketplace we’ll get on it right away. It goes without saying that we will send your order as soon as possible. To be able to do this we make use of our own vehicles and renowned transport companies in the Netherlands and abroad.

The delivery period, special orders excluded, is usually within 24 hours to 5 business days (click here for the delivery times per country).

The courier will give you a call prior to delivery to let you know he’s on his way. If you’re not home he’ll leave you a note with a phone number you can use to arrange a new date and time for delivery. If you require additional information about your order and delivery process you can send an e-mail to info@lifespaneurope.com stating your name, order and/or invoice number.

Our customer service will respond within 24 hours by sending you an e-mail containing any available information about the status of your order. You’ll also receive a track and trace code from the courier so you can keep track of the whereabouts of your order.

Heavy items are delivered unassembled to the first door on the ground floor. The same goes for deliveries in apartment buildings. In most cases heavy items are delivered on a pallet. If this is the case the courier will deliver the products up to the point he can reach with his pallet truck. Small and light products are delivered by a parcel service and always delivered up to the front door.

How to act in case of damage in transit?

If the product you’ve received is damaged make sure to have your courier make a note on your packing slip and keep the original packaging at all times. The distribution partner will check the product and packaging for damage at a later date to honor your claim. Make sure to never transport any damaged items to other locations. If you do so the distribution partner can no longer honor your claim.

*Are you ordering a product from the UK? No problem! Most items are delivered from our UK warehouse in Stoke-on-Trent and will be shipped to you within a few days. Some items, such as combinations with desks, have a longer delivery time. These items come partly from our main warehouse in The Netherlands. All our prices includes shipping, customs costs, VAT and paperwork for the import.

** Are you ordering a product from Switzerland? No problem! Contact us for a quote. When ordering to Switzerland, Swiss VAT, extra transportation and the necessary import documents are taken into account. It is also possible to pick up orders in Waldshut-Tiengen (just across the border in Germany). Note! For some products it can be even cheaper to import it into Switzerland than shipping it within EU counties! This is a result of the differences in VAT!

***We can deliver our products in the Republic of Cyprus (EU), but have to charge shipping costs as the transport is by ship. Send us a message with your address and we will make a proposal. The transport takes about 3 weeks. Products are delivered to the desired address.

Free shipment 

Order your LifeSpan Fitness Device or Workplace online, and we’ll get to work right away! Ordered before 15:00, shipped the same day with Palletways throughout Europe. Fitness machines are heavy products and are shipped on a pallet. The transporter delivers the pallet to the first threshold of the building. If you live in an apartment, your order will be delivered at the entrance of the building and not to your front door. The carrier delivers the pallet with the fitness equipment to the point where he can reach with his pallet truck.

Refund policy

Return

Is the product not completely to your satisfactory, or have you changed your mind?

Not a problem at all! You can return your goods within 30 days. The cooling-off period starts from the moment you've received your order.

If you wish to return a product please send an email to info@lifespaneurope.com. After receiving your request we'll confirm this by e-mail and start the return procedure. Unfortunately returns without prior notification can not be processed.
Return shipment

A return shipment must be packed in a protective box to prevent the products from being damaged. The returned products must be complete and send in its original packaging.

In case of damage or traces of use, other than the required use during the cooling-off period we will be obliged to deduct a percentage of the sales price on the amount to be refunded.
Pick-up service

If you don't have a carrier we will contact a transport company for a 'home pick up'. We will set up a pick-up order for a pick-up moment of your choosing but always between 10.00 AM and 6.00 PM.

The product must be ready for shipment at the appointed time at the location it was originally delivered, preferably in its original packaging and palletized if possible. The products must be placed at the first door on the ground floor. The same goes for apartment buildings. In most cases heavy products are picked up by a pallet truck. 

In this case the courier has to be able to get his pallet truck as close to the product as possible Upon receiving the return shipment we'll check if it meets the terms and conditions for return shipments.

You'll receive confirmation by e-mail. If everything is in order you'll receive a full refund minus the pick-up costs. You'll be refunded as soon as possible and always within 10 business days after processing the return shipment We will keep you informed throughout the process.

In the rare situation this occurs we'll solve this as soon as possible.
