  1. Walter Vermeir

    After two months of use;

    The treadmill is indeed a well built device. It gives a quality impression.
    It is rated to a max load 159kg. At the lowest speed setting of 0,6 kph – 0,8kph the treadmill was struggling and failing to move my at the time 145kg. That is not really a problem because you will not use that very low speed and when set a bit faster there is no issue.
    In a sense that’s good. If this device behaves that way then there is no hope that one of those cheap light folding desk treadmills that cost 1/5 of this could ever be an option.

    The manual is lacking on some points. I contacted the support once before and once after the propushe for questions about this treadmill.  The information received was not accurate. I also contacted support by mail. Also from that contact I got the impression the product knowledge was lacking.

    The new style console is good. Looks good also. There are some small issues that are details but should not exist.  Like no 24 hours clock setting, only the anying US  a.m/p.m. style and date format. I also have not much understanding why the speed presets are hardcoded. Nevertheless I am very happy those fixt presets exist. The console does not annoy me when using it.

    The touch buttons are extremely sensitive. So you must take care that no wires come in contact with the screen to avoid false input. Like the cable of your headset or mouse.

    The console can make contact with the internet directly by wifi. That is only for checking for firmware updates, what is good for security but still a missed opportunity. It would be better that the console has some internal storage and syncs itself to a webportal. Then app would then be optional and only manage the data already in the webportal. No messing around with Bluetooth.

    But that is not the case.
    To export session data the Lifespan app must be used. No Lifespan webportal exists. That app is not great but it works and can sync to Google Fit. Syncing the app with the console is tricky. It can only be done when a session is in pauze. Or when it is in the overview screen.

    I recommend doing it on the pauze screen. Then you still can resume the session and try it again if it did not sync. When you are in the overview screen you can only exit. And if you fail to sync you lose the data.

    The device with the app must be very, very, close to the console to make it work.

    If you in the app go to ‘user’ and then ‘device” you can pull up stats about the treadmill. How many hours it has run, how many kilometers it has done. And check the firmware.

    Some advice for new owners;

    The box/device is very heavy and bulky. Do not even think about carrying it up a staircase. Get an elevator.
    To get at the motor to clean it out and remove the hood lose the screws left, back and right side a bit without removing them.

    Get if possible get an electric sit/standing desk that is large enghoud for two people/workstations. Then you can sit/stand and also walk. You can just move over to the other side of the desk.

    You buy a desk treadmill to walk. But after a while walking you appreciate the option to also sit in a chair.

    Happy with my purchase. That is a good treadmill.

  2. Ralf van Oers (verified owner)

    Just bought this treadmill and came to the following conclusions.
    -the motor feels a bit weak
    -setting the time has limited options. I am missing the option to set it to 24h instead of am/pm.
    The instruction book for the control panel has faster and slower mixed up (lol)
    -there is no instruction on what app to download what goes with the control panel
    -did eventually find the app. But the app won’t connect.
    -the said app wants access on the phone to media, foto’s, contacts, location…. why?
    (Even when given access it still won’t connect to the control panel)

    Other then that the treadmill does what it must do I guess. But for this high price, I feel like those points I listed, should not be there.
